Future Years Forum Meeting 2017_18

The Future Years Forum meets on a quarterly basis to:

  • discuss issues pertinent to older people
  • arrange feedback on consultations and how they impact on older people
  • update members on the work of forum members in the region

One of the questions asked was whether there was any lobbying about legal issues and health and safety associated with heat, housing and the impact of climate change that Future Years could assist Public Health England with?

The NEA welcome case studies if people are concerend about the impact of the roll out of Smart Metres - these can be used to influence Government.The NEA can also support third sector organisations, including with funding issues, to help raise awareness and confidence in the over 65s.
